The meet will be held under A.S.A. Laws & A.S.A Technical Rules (With a 1 start rule), on 4th February, 2006, at Sharley Park Leisure centre Clay Cross, Derbyshire. The pool is 25m 6 lane. Electronic timing will be in use. The competition is open to amateurs only, as defined by A.S.A Law
Age Groups are based on ages at 04/02/2006.
- A competitor may compete in the name of 1 club only
- Officials from the County and Midlands list as applicable.
- Application for entry must have been correctly submitted by the specified date and accepted by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entry.
- Starts will be into deep water. (EXCEPT 4x25m RELAY EVENTS SEE PROGRAMME)
- Events are seeded on submitted times. All events are on a first come basis
- All events are Heat Declared Winners. Swimmers will compete in 1 age group only
- Age groups:- A 25/29yrs , B 30/34, C35/39, D 40/44, E 45/49, F 50/54, G 55/59, H 60/64, I 65/69, J70+, K19/24
- Individual events A to K inclusive 50m and l00m All strokes, 4x25m L M , 200m + 400m FREESTYLE
Team events 120-159yrs & 160-199yrs & 200+ (combined ages of four swimmers) Clubs may enter more than one team in each age group however a swimmer will only compete in one team.
Points for awards for individual top man/lady are: 6Pts for 1st, 5Pts for 2nd, 4Pts for 3rd, 3Pts for 4th, 2Pts for 5th and 1Pt for 6th - A Prize will be presented to the top Man and Lady with the most points. Spot prizes will be given on day of competition
- The winner of best Man and Lady PRIZE will be the ones achieving highest points total throughout the "meet". In the event of a tie count back on 1st place 2nd place etc. will occur. If this fails to find a winner a further prize will be awarded.
- A Total of FIVE awards will be made
TOP LADY £20, TOP MAN £20,TOP LADIES CLUB £25, TOP MEN'S CLUB £25, TOP COMBINED CLUB £30. - The closing date for entries is SATURDAY 7th JANUARY 2006
ANYTHING NOT COVERED IN ABOVE RULES TO BE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PROMOTER RYKNELD S.P SWIMMING CLUB.

4X25M RELAY EVENTS (6 & 20) (13 & 26) WILL INVOLVE DIVING AT THE
SHALLOW END.
EVENTS (1, 13, 14 &
26) ARE MIXED
DO NOT ENTER THESE EVENTS IF YOU CANNOT EXECUTE A SHALLOW RACING DIVE
AS DEFINED BY THE A.S.A. (YOU CAN HOWEVER START IN THE WATER)
