Club Notice Board

I would just like to thank all the volunteers and officials for their help at this years  B Grade it was a long hard day (my Fault Sorry folks). congratulations to Stewart Yapp Top Boy at meet. The club won top boys, girls and overall club so it was worth the slog. Thanks again Dave Fletcher

Names for the Matlock novice gala are now on the Sharley Park notice board. 5.30pm warm up for 6pm start.

We currently have spaces in our “Goldfish” squad. Lessons are on both Wednesday and Friday evenings, 7-7.30pm (8×30 minute lessons each month).

We are looking for children 5-6 years of age, who are water confident and can swim 5 metres with the aid of a float. Membership of Rykneld Swimming Club costs:
annual fee - £32, monthly fee £20

If you are interested in qualifying as a timekeeper, judge or starter, please sign up on the list on the Sharley Park notice board. There is also a course for Child Protection.

Although officiating at galas has the welcome bonus of not having to queuing up to spectate, this shouldn’t be your only motivation! You will be putting something back into the sport, from which  your child benefits, as well as giving you an insight into the running of a gala and what is expected of the swimmers.

The following training sessions have been cancelled due to the County Championships:

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March

Each week I will put the weekends events, swimmers warm up etc on the Sharley Park notice board. If I miss anyone’s name off, come & see me, I also have a copy of the programme. Please take note of the phone number for withdrawing. The organiser can be contacted upto 1 hour before the start of each session. Remember if you just don’t turn up, you will be fined.
